The Indian Whale Catfish (Rita rita) is a unique and fascinating freshwater catfish species. It has an elongated body shape resembling that of a whale, with a dark brown to black coloration and a scaleless skin. This catfish prefers a well-decorated aquarium with sandy substrate, rocks, driftwood, and hiding places. As a nocturnal species, it is more active during the night and tends to stay hidden during the day.
