The 3D printed Easy Snail Collector makes it easy to collect snails by putting food in the food chamber. You then put it into your aquarium and wait overnight. Then you can remove the snail collector, letting the water drain from the strainer corner. Relocate to another aquarium or feed to your favorite puffers and loaches.
Easy Snail Collector measures - 1.9" x 2.9" x 4.9"
For optimal collection, inserting the snail collector into the substrate so it's flat with the substrate makes it easier to collect Malaysian trumpet snails and faster collection on other snails.
If you have a pleco or other larger fish who want to knock off the lid, a rubberband around it can help prevent that.
Note: Some fish like bristlenose plecos may go in to use it as a cave. Make sure to check on the collector daily. This may be a sign your pleco wants more caves and/or food. Also note that these parts are 3D printed with material that is sensitive to higher temperature. Do not place in direct sunlight, dishwasher, microwave, or hot water, as it may cause damage to the product.
Collect Snails Easily
Put some algae wafers or other food in the chamber, wait 24 hours and remove a lot of snails.
Feed Snails to Fish
Feed the snails collected to puffers, loaches and more.
Snails in, Fish out.
The lid is designed to keep snails in but make it easy for fish to swim out. Optimizing for fish safety. The larger port hole means less fish will get stuck but can go in and out, also leaving some swim room in the collector if they can't find their way out.
Care for 3D printed items
