The Leleupi (Neolamprologus leleupi) is a species of cichlid native to Lake Tanganyika in Africa. They have an elongated, oval-shaped body with a bright yellow to orange coloration. Their dorsal fin is elongated and their anal fin is pointed. They are best kept in a tank with plenty of rocky hiding places, as they are a cave-dwelling species. Leleupi are known for their semi-aggressive behavior, especially when breeding or when protecting their territory.
