Ctenopoma Leopard (Ctenopoma acutirostre), also known as the spotted Ctenopoma or Leopard Bushfish, is a freshwater fish species native to West Africa. They have a unique appearance with a brownish-green/yellow body covered in black spots black spots along their sides. They have long dorsal and anal fins that hold the pattern of the body. They prefer a heavily planted aquarium with plenty of hiding places and subdued lighting. Driftwood is the ideal decor, as they like to spend their rime stationary near the wood to camouflage like a like. Ctenopoma leopard are solitary and territorial, and should be housed with other peaceful species that can tolerate their occasional aggression. They are carnivorous and should be fed a diet of small live or frozen foods.
